We are in pursuit of encouraging students to do more reading as they learn content versus YouTube videos and audio. Purchasing these supplemental books for our science program will intrigue them and subsequently educate them. A class set of each will make it possible for each student to do his/her read and then we pair share. The mystery of Sherlock Holmes and his keen eye for detail and collecting data accurately for the who done it will spice up the authenticity of making acute observations in any science. Poisoners Handbook, also encourages reading just because of the name of the book. The author's authentic knowledge of anthropology and her ability to bring the 20's of 1900 to the 20's of 2000 makes educating about forensic science's "life" easily realized.
