I have the honor and privilege to teach Kindergarten Special Education. We are a self contained classroom filled with amazing minds and smiles. My students are amazing in every way possible. In addition to working on kindergarten standards, we focus on appropriate social skills, daily living skills, behavioral needs, communication skills, and any area that is going to set them up for success in first grade. My students needs and class size changes every year based on the specific students in my class. I love th fact that we are always on our toes coming up with new and fun ways to adapts the curriculum or implement behavior systems to better our students. I might be the teacher in the classroom but I learn more from my students each year.
