I teach English Language Learners in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade in a rural school district in Iowa. Most of my students have only recently begun to speak English, and are dealing with complex issues such as culture shock, poverty, and a lack of ability to communicate their needs and interests at school. In my classroom, I am trying to create rich, language-building experiences that prepare my students to become educated and articulate members of society. Thank you for helping me do this!!!

About my class
