My students have tables with no storage for personal items and books! Can you imagine being in a classroom all day and not having a place to store all your learning materials? This is the predicament my 5 and 6 year olds are in! For this reason I am requesting Chair Pockets. My students will be using the chair pockets to store and keep binders, notebooks, library books and any other school materials needed for learning. The chair pockets will be something that belongs only to them and all of their belongings will be kept safe in their own chair.
Chair pockets will increase organization, which will allow my students to keep all materials nearby and in one place.
Growth isn't only measured by academics, but growth can also be measured through emotional well-being. My hope is to ease my students' anxieties about losing their personal items because they do not have a place to store them at their tables. The chair pockets will help all of my students be confident and successful!
