Could you imagine kindergarten students writing lines of code? Well, if they had the proper technology, they would actually write them. STEM is a major component of students being prepared for the 21st century and beyond. These tablets will allow me to close the gap of my students knowledge of technology versus kindergartners in more affluent areas. By incorporating technology into my class this will allow my students to do something so explicit as writing lines of code. Using the tablets will help my kindergarten students gain an interest in technology, and maybe coding, and how to properly use and take care of the them. This will also allow the students to see the difference between a tablet and a phone. The tablets will teach technology to my students well beyond what they know.
