Donations will help me create an engaging learning environment where students have the opportunity to read independently, with a partner, and listen to audio books in reading centers. Kindergarten is the foundation of the rest of a child's educational experience. My goal is to provide opportunities for learning that is developmentally appropriate and aligns with the state and local educational standards. My students will not be able to read many books on their own so leveled readers and picture books will be great for them. Read aloud books provide time for students to hear and see how a book is read with character voices and inflection while they process the story.
