The purpose of my project is to create an active play learning atmosphere and help organize the room so that we have a calm setting. My students need access to hands-on materials to connect and process learning. In my project, we have material to ease anxiety and make learning fun. We are asking for play food to have our own market place where the students can use play money to work on addition and social interactions. These students have been together for 2+ years and enjoying doing projects and learning with hands on activities. Help fund these activities to support my scholars become independent citizens. Having an storage center and bins would provide organization and easy access materials for the students. Students with additional sensory sensitivity are affected by the organization and lay out of the classroom and would greatly be impacted by a storage center.
