These items will allow students to express their emotions safely and peacefully when they are in my office. I want them to be able to choose different activities for the mood they are in. Sometimes students don't want to talk and journals, whiteboards, etc can help them express their emotions. I also serve students with disabilities and the weighted blanket is a tool to help calm and sooth students when they are upset, restless, or just need that gentle squeeze to self-regulate. I want every student to have a safe, uplifting, and informing time when they meet with me to talk.
