These bean bags will enhance student learning by providing opportunities for flexible grouping. Flexible seating is a trend in classrooms around the world and I currently only have traditional student desks and after doing much research I have found that using bean bags or other seating options can provide students with more learning opportunities. The more comfortable students feel, they more information they will retain. Currently my students love working on the floor and it really helps students engage with one another and gives them freedom in the classroom. Including bean bags in my room will be an asset to my students school environment.
I have also requested Power Pen™ Math Quiz Cards. Students would love this hands on practice while learning their objectives. This is a great way for students to learn and review concepts previously taught and enhance their math fluency. This will help students develops skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, telling time and money! It's a a super-fun way to build math skills with instant reinforcement! Students can just touch an answer with the special pen and the pen tells them if they're right or wrong. This is a great way for students to monitor their own progress and I know my class would really enjoy using the power pen math quiz cards.
