My students love to hold and move objects around. The 3D shapes will be held and repeatedly named. My students will see how 3D shapes are made up of simple flat shapes themselves. They will use the 3D magnetic builders to use simple flat shapes to make common everyday objects like a house, rocket, car, building etc. My students will learn simple science and math concepts while playing. They will engineer buildings, houses, rockets and more with only their creativity limiting them. They love to draw so transferring these shape concepts to paper or iPad would not be out of their reach.
