This school year my students have been faced with challenges they never thought possible including virtual instruction which may not be conducive to their learning needs. These challenges can quickly produce stress, frustration, and anxiety which often follows them into the building leading to restlessness and a heightened urge to move, something most experience when not in a pandemic. Foot fidgets provide my students with an opportunity to move when leaving their seats is not a viable option due to social distancing guidelines. These fidgets also keep hands free, reduce distractions caused by handheld fidgets, and eliminate the sharing of unwanted germs while still providing the relief they desperately need. Given the unique characteristics of each student, I selected a variety of foot fidgets and chose a quantity that will provide each and every student with an opportunity to move.
