About my class

It's extremely important to me that when my students walk into my classroom, they feel at home. This past year has been difficult for everyone, not least of which for students, who have been away from their friends and in-person learning. I want to welcome my students back with an inviting classroom, one that feels like home. With this fundraiser, I want to take it a step further: with these bean bags, students will be able to relax while they choose a book. With the ab balls, students will be able to learn while releasing their energy. And with the large area, students will be able to come to the front for read-alouds and small group activities. I've seen what these small materials can do to the engagement of my students when I've had classrooms that had them. Now I'm hoping to do the same for my new one. I'm providing the first $100 myself, and will match donations with book purchases for my classroom library. Thanks in advance!
