Students will be able to cozy up with a good book as they explore author's purpose, character traits, problem/solution, increase comprehension...and most importantly becoming life long readers. The space will also be able to serve as flexible seating for daily work, partner work, and family discussions. I can envision the students sitting on the carpet and couches as I conduct a read aloud, mini-lesson and morning meeting. Students will also be able to use the area for student-led discussions and small group. Let's get these students out of the standard carpet squares and desk sitting and get them into the future!

About my class
