Creating a versatile library will help spark interest in science. I find that students who finish work early or are very interested in a subject often ask for a book to read for when they have "down time". I love seeing the motivation in students to learn, and really find science fun, these are two of the most important parts of teaching science in my opinion, encouraging deeper learning and keeping it fun when possible. Students all enjoy different types of learning when it comes to reading, I know these books will have a great range of interest and hopefully increase their academic achievement by creating by-in! Having a rage of reading opportunities is very important to me and my classroom. There are infinite ways to continue to use these in my classroom, from reading workshops, to real-word-connections and incorporating literacy to sparking artistic interests, and furthering the outlets for curious minds of students.
