Many of our students miss meals while at home and away from school. With this project, our students will know that they will have some food while at home when school is out. This project will satisfy the natural need for food in our students and their families. It is tough for students to learn and study if they have not had any real nutrition at home. The majority of my students can benefit from backpacks of food to take home, because they often come to school hungry. Providing them with food will set them up for success and build a positive community in which sharing and caring is the norm.

About my class
