My students are in 4th grade. The majority of the students (76%) are on "Free or Reduced Price Lunch". One of the goals of our 4th grade team is to provide our students with an enriched curriculum that allows students to explore the standards and curriculum with a hands on approach. The students in my class have a 97% attendance rate and thrive on differentiation that allows them to express their learning and thinking in nontraditional ways. In working with my students, I cherish when they say, "It's time to go home, but I'm not ready---the day went too fast." I love their thirst for knowledge, and value the opportunities I have to fine tune my own teaching skills by enriching their learning.
