Students will engage in singing, dancing, playing instruments, and dramatizing stories. These props and curriculum materials will ensure varied and comprehensive instruction. These materials will allow K-5 and special needs students succeed in music, and create a community culture of respect and cooperative learning at our school. Boomwhackers are an accessible way for autistic and special needs students to perform independently! Texts will create a working library for music staff to create engaging, varied, and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Props and instruments will allow EVERY student in a class to actively perform and participate together at the same time, encouraging communal music making and collaboration.
