My students have a strong desire to succeed. They are 3rd graders, but the last “normal year” of school for them was kindergarten. Sadly, these abnormal school years, filled with digital learning and quarantines, resulted in huge deficits in their foundational reading and math skills. I have students at every level—kindergarten through 4th grade, all in one room, and with all different interests. In order to fill in these deficits and get each child on or above grade level, we need a variety of hands-on center materials and learning resources of all levels. These materials must be able to keep them motivated and interested. I have spent hundreds of dollars on highly engaging printable resources and card-stock paper—to compete with modern day technology—while meeting the various needs of each child. The only thing missing is the color laser printer and toner. Please help me help my kids finally achieve academic success, and show them that they are worthy of high quality materials and community support!
