These materials will help alleviate some of the costs of going to college for my students. Most of my students do not own laptops, nor can their families afford to buy them one and having a personal laptop to work on makes doing work in college so much easier. Many students do not have their own sets of towels and washcloths to clean themselves with because they have never lived away form home and most do not own twin xl bedding because that type of mattress is normally only seen in college dorm rooms. With most of my students being low income, many of them are focused on paying for school first and getting supplies later. However, having the essential supplies listed is just as important as paying for school, because they are needed to be successful.
