These materials in my classroom would help make an impact in my classroom by giving my students' a choice! There aren't many opportunities for a young child that they can make on their own without an adult. Flexible Seating will give them that chosen power. Students would be able to come into my classroom each week and choose a location of where they wanted to do their learning. There are so many studies out in the Education Realm that immensely support flexible seating like Wobble Chairs and Balance Ball Seats in the modern classroom and this opportunity would help me make that leap! Flexible seating benefits are plentiful in the ways of improving physical and mental health. Students choosing where they sit each day can impact them in ways they might not be able to do at home. I want the most comforting environment for my students that would allow them to communicate with their peers, have conducive collaboration and commit to learning from their chosen seat.
