For any space to be efficient, it needs organization and structure. Many of the items listed will assist in keeping our classroom a fun, open space that will allow my students to meet their potential academically, socially and emotionally! One of my favorite sayings, is: "there is a place for everything and everything has a place"! Teaching students the benefits of staying organized is something they will carry with them throughout life. Because managing a classroom effectively has such an impact on the overall classroom community, I've added a few pieces that will enhance our classroom management system (doorbell) and items to keep the classroom a lively, yet-still-comfortable place to learn and grow (LED lights). I've also added numerous books to grow our beginning of the year classroom library and intend to add a rich variety of culture and diversity in our read alouds.
