Being a Title I school means that most of our money goes to academics, as it should. However, this leaves little money for sports or basic classroom needs beyond what we raise through fundraisers. Our athletes can be at a disadvantage since college athletes are often discovered during tournament/club athletics and our students cannot afford this. Our athletes will benefit from reaction balls which can increase their speed of play for any sport and agility tools that will help them move and be even more competitive whether at the high school level or the collegiate level. It is also disheartening to daily see a child struggle to bring the very basic of materials needed to class, such as pencils. Pencils are the most used school supply, and they are always needed. Storage is also important if we as teachers are going to maximize our space to provide the very best environment for our students. I have also put a bungee blocking tool to help maximize our players' ability to shut the opposing teams offense. This is will increase our statistics and encourage college coaches to come and watch our athletes. I have also add a storage rolling cart, which will help to store our supplies and our volleyball workout equipment, such as our reaction balls. The bulletin board storage container will actually store anchor charts, which are research proven to help student retain the material taught.
