Students in the 21st century need to learn how to read and write "code." Check out this 5 minute video from Code.org https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKIu9yen5nc Programming is a huge need in the job market. I want to help my students get comfortable with reading and writing code...with programming. Even though programming is offered at my school, many capable students are reluctant to enroll. So I find ways to integrate coding into my math classes. Many students like what they find coding to be and want to get deeper into programming. As the enrollment in my programming classes grows, our technology resources must keep pace. The tools necessary to teach programming are expensive and I need your help to acquire tools teach programming to my growing group of next generation coders!
