With a color printer, students will have the ability to share and display their creative projects with family, friends, and fellow students. In class, students create various documents using various types of technology like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel. Students in my classroom create everything from funny memes, posters, cards, and brochures. In addition, students build websites, create infographics, and other types of fun, engaging projects. Students also create resumes, cover letters, and other professionally styled documents. Students continually ask me if their work can be printed, and my only answer is "no" because we don't have a printer. This project will help students in 6th grade Digital Literacy, 7th grade Computer Applications, and 8th grade Multimedia Basics.
