Coach Mel's music class needs a hands-on boost! Once middle school begins to pull students in many directions at once, music and its benefits to learning may get set aside. My students may never get the chance to learn and play an instrument again! Help me provide an interaction for students that will connect play with the love of music for a lasting memory. Ukulele and piano serve as gateways into instruments students will recognize in their higher grades. Let's get them loving music early so the students may benefit from the incredible growth in cognitive and emotional development musical interaction provides.
