Because Covid-19 has made students stay away from life, my project will help open up the world through the Oculus - Quest 2 Advanced. The Oculus has multiple science and history-based programs for memorable learning experiences. With the Virtual Reality Headset and the Smart Fire TV in my class, we can see history and science in person without leaving the school and putting kids at risk. Students are behind on learning experiences and getting funding for trips and materials is becoming harder and harder. The Oculus allows us to see many things we need without leaving the school, asking for funding, or experiencing undue risk. Because my current students have been stuck in one place for two years, let's get them out while keeping them safe!
