Fidgets help students in a variety of situations, including for self-regulation and when talking about difficult topics. There are usually an abundance of fidgets available to students to choose from, but this year nearly all fidgets have had to be put away due to COVID. (Many of the budget-friendly fidgets I have been able to purchase in the past were putty-based or not easily sanitized.) Having durable, sanitization friendly fidgets will allow students the ability to make use of them when they are in need, rather than going without. This will enhance counseling sessions and also positively impact classrooms since some students choose to take a fidget to class with them and return it when they are no longer in need. There are three offices and one main space area to the counseling suite. Having these fidgets will ensure there's at least one, if not more, option in each room for students.
