The Leveled Library Mobile Storage Cart and corresponding book bins will give my students easy access to quality books on their independent reading level. The organized arrangement will make choosing a “just right book” that much easier. Children who are learning to read need access to a variety of texts on their independent reading level. Independent reading is an important time during our school day where students can practice their phonics, comprehension, and fluency skills using texts that are perfect for where they are on their reading journey. It gives me as the teacher an opportunity to listen in and conference with individual students in order to focus on the specific needs of my diverse group of learners. This storage cart will be a valuable addition to our classroom learning materials and it will allow for easier, more effective choosing of independent reading materials.
