Graphing Calculators
Funded Aug 26, 2025I have 24 students in my biggest classroom this year, and this project bought me my 24th graphing calculator. The new TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculators are state-of-the-art technology that can find the greatest common factor of two numbers, graph logarithms, plot in color, find the normal distribution of a set of data, translate into 6 different languages, and so much more.
Thank you for ensuring that my students have the newest calculators. Before I got TI-84 plus CE calculators, I had calculators from 2004. They aren't as good. Thank you for updating my technology.”

Funded Jul 1, 2025It is October 30th, and I have already used 100 pencils this year. Sometimes I joke that the students must eat the pencils I use so many. Because you funded this project, I am able to have pencils in my classroom, and I don't have to worry about rationing them. I refill the pencil jar each day. This is a game-changer because students know they can grab a pencil before class. This allows them to start at the bell. You can't do math without a pencil. Because of you, my algebra 1 and algebra 2 students are able to complete their math problems. Thank you!”

Stamps For Mailing Letters Home
Funded Jul 16, 2025Thank you for funding this project for stamps. In the digital age, it is the parents' responsibility to download an app to look at their students' grades. This is sometimes a lot to ask. So with the purchase of stamps, I am mailing report cards directly to the students' houses like they used to do. The parents appreciate the direct contact. Eveyrone likes receiving mail. This has allowed for better communication with home. Thank you for making this project be possible. I am also able to mail homework packets for kids who are sick for a long period of time. Thank you!!”

Funded Jun 14, 2025Thank you for the new whiteboard. This has transformed my classroom this year. I have my students work on the whiteboards around the room. Research has shown that students are more likely to try when working on a whiteboard. My students love working on the whiteboard you got for my classroom.
Thank you for making my classroom better. Because of you, my classroom is better than it was last year. Because of you, my students have a new whiteboard that has transformed their learning. Thank you for investing in our classroom. I teach algebra 2 and algebra 1 this year. I have 80 minute blocks every day and students need a change to their routine. Working on the whiteboards helps them learn math.”

Graphing Calculator
Funded May 18, 2025Thank you for the new calculator. This one graphs in color and is lighter weight than the school-bought one. Students enjoy the ease of this calculator. This calculator is the newest technology and because of you, my students get to use the newest technology.
This calculator makes graphing a lot easier and is more student-friendly. It has a translation feature for my English as a Second language students. Having new technology allows my students to stay up with the times even when my school can't pay to stay up with the times. Thank you!”

Funded May 6, 2025I have a snack drawer in my classroom. Any student at any time can grab a snack. I always keep it full. I have about 120 students who are in my classroom every day. They know they can grab a snack. Sometimes kids from previous years will come back for a snack.
It is hard to focus on classwork when you are hungry.
Teenagers have fast metabolisms that make them very hungry throughout the day. I enjoy giving my students the choice of which snack they want. So I picked out a variety of snacks to cater to different students tastes.”

Funded Apr 24, 2025Thank you for donating to my classroom. Your donation went into purchasing snacks for my students. Around 3rd period, students start to get hungry, and some of them don't have lunch until 6th period. Because of you, my students get to eat a snack during third period to hold them over to lunch. My students enjoy picking through the selection of snacks.
Thank you for ensuring my students are fed. This helps them focus on classwork. It also encourages kids to get to class on time because they only get a snack if they come on time.”

Blankets for Students
Funded Oct 4, 2025Thank you for your generosity! You are the best! Because of you, my students will get their own blanket this winter. This project would be impossible without your support. Now each child in my class will get their own blanket. This is my favorite project of the year because the students get to keep their blankets. Thank you!!”

Blankets to Stay Warm
Funded Sep 26, 2025Thank you so much for your generosity! Every year I give a gift to my students in December. When I taught middle school I got a book for each kid. In high school I started giving them a blanket each. It was a huge hit and I’ve been doing it ever since. Every kid gets their own blanket that they can take home and keep. I chose a selection of patterns so kids can choose which blanket they want. This is my largest group of kids as I have 6 classes of about 18 kids each. This project alone bought enough kids for an entire class. Thank you! You make it possible for me to add joy into my students lives. My students talk about this gift years after they leave my classroom. Thank you for making financially possible!!!!”
