Many of my young students have a difficult time sitting on their floor in music class. They often find their way to chairs(which I use for older grades) that are too big for the bodies. Wobble chairs have been shown to allow students to move their bodies, while not disrupting their attention to instruction. This flexible seating will give them a place to call their own, while providing stimulation from the wobble chair. Through this project, many students will find even more success in the music classroom, which in turn, will lead to even more student learning and increased engagement.
