Math can sometimes be challenging. Math with a language barrier is even harder. Small group learning allows for students to interact on a more one to one with other students and teacher, allowing for more conversation to find solutions. This allows for collaboration and comfortably. I like to meet with my students on a one to one or three to one bases everyday to break down individual needs in both ELA and Math. Having engaging and constructive centers for rotation make that a possibility. Allowing for students to grow and work togethern encourages leader skills and communication in a community setting.
