I am a dual language teacher who works with Kindergarten students in a K-6 high needs urban elementary school. I am focused on teaching Literacy, Writing and Science in Spanish. For half of my students Spanish is their first language while for the other half this is their 2nd and even 3rd language that they are learning, creating a truly diverse and multilingual classroom. My students are enthusiastic learners who come from many diverse backgrounds. They are energetic and keep me young at heart with their smiles and hugs. They are hard working and strive to do their best when presented with any challenge.
