Our class is a group of students who, as the year passes, form a sharing and caring community within our classroom. Sometimes though students need a "space" they can use as their own personal thinking niche; a space with minimal distraction. In a classroom of up to 35 students that space can be hard to find. However, privacy desk dividers are a great way to optimize precious classroom real estate. Students would be able to choose when or on what assignment they would use the desk screen. Students with attention deficit disorders or behavioral and/or emotional issues would greatly benefit.
