My students will be able to read Shiloh and Wonder together. They will be able to use the Speaking/Listening/Writing standards to participate in group discussions, respond to reading through writing, and extend their learning, through character studies, as well as create abstract art work based on their reading. TIME for Kids will help them learn to collaborate with others and share their different points of view in a civilized and constructive way. They will also learn how to agree and/or disagree with someone on current events. The articles will help them learn that people are different and have reasons for being who they are and doing what they do.
