According to the Conscious Discipline's philosophy, by Dr. Becky A. Bailey. "It is our job to keep students safe". A way I would like to do this is by creating a "Safe Place" in my classroom and help students create a safe place for themselves at home. Social Emotional Books, will educate students on how to deal with their emotions. We can have books available in the classroom and at home. Teaching students skills they can use to gain control of their emotions. The blankets will also provide individual comfort.
