I teach in a Title 1 middle school and my 8th grade classes are composed of English language learners that range from no English to limited English to Gift and Talented students. While many of them are low-income; all of them are high achieving students. All my students have enjoyed my Science learning centers with a variety of activities ranging from hands-on to writing and reading Science topics. I enjoy teaching from high interest books to inquiry engaging experiments that uses high yield strategies. My students come from backgrounds with little to no global perspectives that challenges me to create experiences through hands-on activities and visual strategies. By supporting my projects, you are allowing my students to become successful lifelong learners.
