The rug I have chosen will allow students the flexibility to choose where they sit during our group meetings. More often than not, students make good choices when they can chose where they sit and are more engaged. The students have the option to take charge of their learning by allowing them to decide the area that best fits them during this time. The spaces are large so flexible seating (such as wobbly chairs) can also be accommodated, but still allows for that student to stay engaged as part of the group. The colors are neutral to maintain a calming environment and the rug will offer a comfortable seating base.
