My bilingual kindergarteners are working on their letter recognition and sounds in both English and Spanish. They thrive during hands-on activities and these whiteboards would allow the opportunity to show me what they know! When I ask them to write the letter a certain sound makes, they will be able to write their answer and hold up their boards. Additionally, the whiteboards would provide students the opportunity to practice forming their letters. I would be able to informally asses them instantly and it will assist in guiding me during further instruction.
