I am requesting six Kindle Fire Tablets and a surge protector. My students will be able to use Kindle Fire tablets to practice math while at school. Using a QR scanner app, students will be able to solve problems and check their work using the tablet. Students are motivated to solve problems and scan their the code to check their work. They will also be able to visit selected math websites and game apps appropriate for the skills being taught. I have found students are more self-directed and stay on task when they are using technology in the classroom which frees me up to work in a small group with struggling students.
