Our school is located in rural south Mississippi and most of my kids receive free or reduced lunches. Almost all parents live from paycheck to paycheck. I love my 2nd graders, they are so eager to learn and please. I know everyone says that kids are like sponges, but 2nd graders really are. They will soak up everything you can throw at them.
