I am one lucky teacher in Georgia! This year I continue to enjoy teaching 5th graders in the areas of math, science and social studies. Throughout the day, my classroom will have 60 different students ready to traverse the academic and social world! I use math workshop, student conferencing and data notebooks, technology, and real world tasks to make their learning more than just a "worksheet world." I have been able to purchase round tables to replace the normal desks to create an environment that is more conducive to team work.
