I have been teaching high school math at a public college prep school for the last 3 years. During this time, I've devoted countless hours to creating an innovative curriculum fueled by technology. The majority of students that I work with come from low-income families and are likely the first in their families to have the opportunity to attend college. My school provides students throughout the city with an opportunity to enroll in a rigorous curriculum that prepares them for post-secondary careers. All students, regardless of their socioeconomic status or neighborhood zoning, are given the opportunity to receive a quality education filled with spirit and tradition.
