My students are adult students who have returned to school to earn their high school diploma. They come with many challenges, especially after being out of school for so long. My goal is to make my English class interactive and engaging. Most of my students struggle with reading, writing, and technology. We are a drop-out recovery school and the times have changed since most of my students were in school. They come to us with a lot of different issues, but they are all there for one thing - to get their high school diploma.
