My students this year are all high achieving students who need some extra support in technology. While the school is successful with developing students and reaching standards it does lack in technology, which I think is so essential in developing the whole child and preparing them for the future advancements of technology. My classroom has some diversity but they are mostly Hispanic kids. The school as a whole experiences some transiency. Lots of students who are designated as Gifted are moving to very high achieving schools who are more technologically advanced in supporting the child. I want to change that and keep my students here. While this school has its successes, there's always room for growth. My students want every opportunity to grow and become great contributors to society. They are GREAT kids, and I look forward to seeing them and witnessing their growth as they are inspired by the visual tool of the camera and how it can tell their story.
