The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will allow my students to explore the history, science, and art of shadow puppetry. They will also learn shadow puppetry techniques while they integrate science, math, world cultures, and literature into their shows. The donations to this project will allow for the student's learning to really come alive. The students will use the flashlights and desk lights to create and learn about shadows. The wooden skewers, colored gel paper, and pencils will be used to create the actual shadow puppets that the students will use to tell their stories.
