I teach 5th grade Science and Global Studies in Roanoke, VA. I teach the entire 5th grade so I have about 85 students. We do a lot of hands-on learning through labs, small group work, and guided practice. My students are very active in their learning whether they are teaching their neighbor or working together in groups to take their learning to the next level. My classroom is a very inclusive atmosphere where we welcome all learning styles and thought processes. We all work together as a team to make learning fun in 5th grade!
