Each day I have the opportunity to deal with some of the most interesting and caring people, my students. Each one is trying to answer the typical teenage questions: what will I do with my life, how will I get there, how will I pay for it, how do I deal with peers, etc. But many are also dealing with other issues as well: the necessity to work long hours, lack of support at home, lack of money for everyday needs, ... Our school is often an island of stability in a somewhat turbulent life. If I can open their eyes to new possibilities for their future while they are there, I certainly want to use every chance I have to do so. I really want to give them opportunities to expand their knowledge of the world around them!

About my class
