In my healthy mind, healthy life project you will find a mobile storage bin for storing coloring pages and supplies used for individual, classroom, and group counseling sessions. You will also find a Jumbo beanbag seat which will allow for a child to be comfortable and relax. Finally, you will find board games, play dough, twiddle classic, and a slinky that will also help students relax. It is common in counseling to let students choose a game or activity that will redirect their thoughts if they are angry and it will help them relax and engage with the counselor (myself). My overall goal is to create an environment that promotes mindfulness, self-awareness, and introduce techniques using the items I have requested.
