Sport Psychology researchers and many other interdisciplinary researchers have agreed with the statement movement enhance learning in the classroom. Thus, having students using the resistant bands and implementing particular movements during a lesson or as a "fitness break" will potentially increase students attention span, information retention, and stress relief. A coordinated set of integrative movements during a lesson will enhance learning. Resistant bands is an efficient and discrete fitness technique that students will be able to use during history lessons in my classroom or any other class without disturbing the dynamics of the class since the band will go above their knees. I personally used the resistant bands in college to stay awake and focus in long classes and it worked perfectly. Some teachers took them weeks to notice I was doing band movements for my legs while paying attention or taking notes.
