The flower tables that are the center of this project will allow the students in the classroom to have flexible seating and will promote collaboration in the classroom. Since the tables are circular, the students are all able to speak among one another, which will promote learning. Since it is a first grade classroom, socialization is an extremely important component to the students growth and well-being. These tables will help the students in those areas. I will be able to give more one-on-one instruction to students with minimal interruption because the students are not having to transition around the classroom.

About my class
